| Tiivistelmä: | The financial function can form the cutting edge of strategic mobility - vital on today's corporate battlefield. The characteristics of the financial strategy is defined, and its role in the corporate overall activity is analysed. After examining the main resources of financial value of a firm it is concluded that by introducing a stronger financial dimension into overall strategy by maximizing the value of the firm, using optimum financing and seeking financial competitive adventage, the firm's operations and competitive position will be strengthened. |
