Tiivistelmä:In this paper the author considers strategy related beliefs in five organizations in Hungary with substantial foreign participation. Twenty to 27 managers participated in the study from each company. Participants were selected based on their hierarchical positions. The authors find that one of the strongest determinants of similarity of beliefs was being a member of the functional area favoured by the strategic change. The one of the most important findings is that the effect of being in the favoured area was greater than the effect of all other individual characteristics, including nationality. The authors provide the substantial list of references on this subject.
