Tiivistelmä:The rapidly developing economies of Asia have resulted in large consumer and industrial markets. Therefore, USA and European companies are moving into these regions. However, Japan is the dominant investor in Asia. Historically, Japanese companies have used a Japan-based centralized manufacturing strategy, with sales offices in foreign countries. Nowadays, much of Japan's manufacturing has been relocated to Asia. America and Europe can draw important lessons from Japanese MNC's in tailoring their subsidiary strategies to their multinational mission.
