| Tiivistelmä: | The economies of Hong Kong and Taiwan are more and more closely linked up with the mainland economy. It is of vital importance to further implementation of the "reform and open policy" to well understand and give full play to the role of trade and capital of Hong Kong and Taiwan. The economies of these areas are moving towards convergence. Special policies and treatment should be adopted towards Hong Kong and Taiwan capital. Two-way investment across the Taiwan straits should be encouraged. Distinction should be made between Chinese investment, overseas investment and that by foreign citizens of Chinese origin. |
