Tiivistelmä:Traditionally, companies have built a competitive advantage by focusing on what they have: structural advantages such as economies of scale, a well established brand, or dominance in certain market segments. Other companies develop behavioral advantages, or capabilities, and use them to improve their structural position. Only the top management team can focus the entire company's attention on the specific strategic capabilities that will serve customers and distinguish a company from its competitors.
