| Tiivistelmä: | The selling of management trends has become increasingly like the selling of laundry detergents: a continual offering of 'new and improved' and 'whiter and brighter'. In the case of business process reengineering, also known as business process redesign, the sales stories have been especially astonishing. The critical response has been equally dramatic. The serious manager would be well advised to ignore both the fantastic success stories, and the simplistic criticisms. Business process reengineering represents much more than just 'old wine in new bottles'. |
