| Tiivistelmä: | In this article, the author analyzes the contracting value of different but equally accepted cost allocation or cost estimation methods by using a principal-agent model where cost accounting is modeled as a choice of alternative methods. One method is selected ex post as the report used to contract with the agent. Assuming that the report does not indicate the method used, the report modeled is “tainted”. |
