| Tiivistelmä: | Economic analysis of job qualification formerly concentrated on work requirements within the company. A critical review is given of studies that have been restricted narrowly to the topics of labor and companies. A new trend in analyses of job qualifications is explained which seeks a linkage between the use and exchange values of the work force. The acquirement of a crystallized know-how within the trade or job culture seems to be appropriate to settle problems both of qualification and of pay generating bargaining power. This way of regulating the labor market is also related to company and government interventions. |
