| Tiivistelmä: | A comprehensive review of the literature about leadership in firms is given demonstrating a constant oscillation between specific analysis and general models. So far little attention is paid to employers collectively as "a group actor who manages the interests of corporations and their owners". A new approach based on recent comparative research is proposed that deals with employer associations which as lobbies of special interest, produce political, public goods. Among others managerial organizations, their membership services, exclusive clubs reinforcing class sociability and paragovernmental associations strengthening authority are mentioned. Exchange processes between these various types of associations are analyzed. |
