| Tiivistelmä: | This paper discusses several modes of payment of users charge in the course of international technical import, namely, the lump-sum payment and percentage-deducting payment. The former kind means more disadvantages than advantages for the licensee so that some developing nations try to restrict the volume, terms and scope of the lump-sum payment by means of legislation and examination of contracts. The latter mode is the most common, benefiting both the licensure and licensee. However, heel must be given to the percentage. |
