| Tiivistelmä: | Reform of China's import management system should proceed in this direction: the positive role of import in the national economy is to be re-recognized, business of other commodities should be opened except for some products of young industries that must be protected; import of badly- needed commodities must be brought under tighter control, and import of means of production especially advanced technology and equipment should be encouraged; reform related to management of import is to be improved, and roles of rate of exchange and tariffs as economic levers should be played; and chambers of commerce of import and export should function actively. |
