| Tiivistelmä: | The results of a survey carried out in the United Kingdom indicate that employers of recently privatized as well as those of public sector organizations depend to a significant degree on management training as an intervention mechanism to increase employee productivity. Another finding of the survey is that at the same time managers did not think that participation in training had contributed to improved performance on their part. Respondents thought that their organizations should give higher priority to other actions, including increasing staff resources and establishing better internal communication system. |
