| Tiivistelmä: | This article aims to analyze the cause and effect of corruption with data from federal corruption convictions in the United States. The authors find evidence that corruption has a negative correlation with the level of education and wealth in a state. The level of corruption is also correlated with the level of income inequality and racial fractionalization. |
