| Tiivistelmä: | The driving force of the industrial public sector within the national productive sector is demonstrated. A study has been carried out with the use of 33 and 86 sectors input-output matrices, on the basis of influence theory indicators. The results show that the industrial public sector displays two basic features: it has a low driving action and a strong aptitude to diffuse price movements; its internal consistency is strong because of the close relations existing between the public sectors. After a detailed analysis a typology of the 28 relevant sectors is presented. |
