| Tiivistelmä: | The consequences of the completion of the European Internal Market for public sector procurement are analyzed. After a study of national purchasing practices, the effects of increasing competition are examined. The perspective revealed in the Atkinson Report is assessed. The benefits of the internal market are demonstrated. The strategies of the firms in competitive tendering are considered. The influence of the changing conditions of market entry as well as the increasing competition on costs is investigated. |
