| Tiivistelmä: | This article reviews recently published books about management consulting. Based on a distinction between practice-oriented, popular/disclosing, and research-driven texts, the focus is put on the latter. Although this literature has no common lines of argumentation or homogeneous results, some individual commonalities with regard to market mechanisms, power relations between consultants and commissioning clients, and difficulties in the client-consultant relationship could be ascertained. |
