| Tiivistelmä: | This study aims to better understand the characteristics of art restoration firms in Italy, with especial reference to their use of innovative technologies, e.g. laser technology. Based on a survey of a sample of 100 companies, the factors having led firms to adopt or resist the adoption of the laser were identified and analyzed. It is shown that the main determinants of laser adoption are collaborative activities btw. firms and universities and specific requests made by public institutions using this technology. |
