Tiivistelmä:Only 3% in Africa have university education and an even small number obtain degrees. Cost is often the culprit. Now, an inspiring project in South Africa will allow financially disabled students to obtain invaluable business degrees at virtually no cost. Business development in Africa was given a shot in the arm with the opening of a university in Johannesburg, unique in Africa and probably the world. CIDA City Campus, South Africa's virtually free university level institution, is committed to uplifting exceptional students in Africa who could not otherwise afford tertiary education. This year 1,000 scholarships valued at R40m and funded by the private sector, have been taken up. The paper provides an inset "Australia launches degree courses is Africa".
