| Tiivistelmä: | Refering to recent leadership research, this study focuses on leadership (hereafter as: l-ship) modes and multicultural (hereafter as: m-c.) team composition (as: t-c.). Two identified dimensions, that's 'focused versus distributed l-ship' and 'vertical vs. horizontal l-ship', are utilized to develop four l-ship modes: single, paired, rotated, and shared. M-c. t-c. is examined as to 'faultlines' and 'status cues'. Propositions are formulated predicting which team l-ship mode will enhance team outcomes given different m-c. t-c. It is argued that l-ship modes should be an informed strategic choice. |
