| Tiivistelmä: | This paper provides an in-depth discussion on the relationship between the European social model and the eastern enlargement of the EU. The article focuses on four sectors of social partnership among business, labor and the state which could be seen as venues for change. The eastern enlargement of the EU has not harmonized practices toward existing European social dialogue standards because the accession countries have adopted more like American way of thinking which leads to further diversification of the concept of social dialogue. |
