Tiivistelmä:This paper outlines the manager identity and the dynamics between identity and anti-identity, which the authors describe with a new concept, default identity. The paper is based on semi-structured pre-programme interviews with senior and middle managers. A deeper and wider understanding of identity work of managers reveals possibilities to new thoughts and innovation in terms of individual organizational identity work, leadership development and organizational change.
