| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper a comparison is made of the organization of the retail firms in four European countries: France, Germany , Italy and the United Kingdom. Verification is provided that the differences in organization are much more important than the structural differences in Europe, and there is explanation of why there are different models of retail firms. The evolution of the retail industry in Europe differs greatly in terms of the organization of retail firms. |
