COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
Kieli:eng
Tiivistelmä:As is well known, U.S. labour organisation in the private sector now stands at about 10%, approximately the same percentage of workers organised on the eve of the Great Depression. What does this portend for US collective bargaining in the next century. Is it viable? Will unionisation rates ever recover, or will collective bargaining be even further devastated by the increasingly integrated, competitive world market? This article argues that globalisation has been overstated and that the implications of the globalisation that does exist for organised labour have been oversimplified.
