| Tiivistelmä: | In recent years a considerable amount of empirical research has been conducted into the media presentation of industrial relations issues. Breakfast time television offers a different approach from more established television output. BBC and ITV programmes are very similar in format. According to survey findings their content has a similar limited perspective of what industrial relation is, how it should be presented and how coverage should be organized. The time devoted to industrial relations is comparatively substantial. Neither of them can really claim a presentation likely to enhance general understanding of employee aims and aspirations. |
