| Tiivistelmä: | The conflicting results produced by surveys alleging that payment by results (PBR) encourages strikes, the timing and differing scopes of surveys, their comparison with data, complex results, plant size related to strikes, the size bands and categories of union organisation, loglinear analysis and case study evidence. The author concludes that new statistical techniques show little evidence of a direct link between PBR and strikes. |
