| Tiivistelmä: | The paper presents one of the many key factors contributing to the entrepreneur's success.On the basis of the theoretical and empirical results it points out the importance of entrepreneurial expertise on starting and developing new and small companies.The higher level of the entrepreneurs education and previous work experience or owning some kind of family business, they are all related to higher growth and development of their new firms.Their companies employ more, have larger equity and bigger turnover as their counterparts have.This is not surprising as they are generally more innovative and "active" exporters. |
