| Tiivistelmä: | In this article we consider the production theory developed in the textbook by Werner Dinkelbach - the person celebrated in this supplementary issue - and his coauthor Otto Rosen- berg and discuss an extension of this theory to modeling al- ternatives oriented at learning effects. It is shown that this extension of the Leontief and Gutenberg technologies as developed in the authors' textbook can be directly traced to the regression effects known from the theory of learning and experience curves. The efficiency and profit or cost plan- ning problems of production under Leontief and Gutenberg technologies that take learning into account are thoroughly discussed. We obtain the result that the interperiodical ef- ficiency and production problems related to learning and ex- perience effects require the development of multiperiod re- spectively dynamic models. |
