| Tiivistelmä: | This article focuses on international communication strategies and practices in environmental risk cases. The discussion draws on data gathered in interviews carried out with the members of the case organization, Brookhaven National Laboratory. Written material and observations were also used to gain an in-depth understanding about the risk communication management process in a real-life setting. The results highlight the importance of leadership behavior in risk communication situations. |
