| Tiivistelmä: | A formalization of the static economic conformance level of Lundwall and Juran, then the optimizing volume-based learning model of Spence is reviewed for comparison with the quality-based learning models that follow it. Two quality-based learning models are discussed and optimal quality,pricing and production policies for each are derived,and these policies are compared with the base-case models of Lundwall-Juran and Spence. It is concluded with discussion and implications for managing with the use of these models. |
