Tiivistelmä:The extent of economic content varies widely across courses and textbooks in the international business and depends on the relative emphasis on pragmatic, general knowledge and research methods objectives for the course. Both research methods objectives and general knowledge objectives call for greater use of economic materials. International business could make much more use of economic concepts, drawing particularly on recent developments in economics. The choice of economic materials should, however, be rooted very firmly in actual problems that arise in corporations or other organizations dealing with the international environment.
