| Tiivistelmä: | This article concentrates on implications for supervision. A wide range of titles are used by companies to cover supervisors: foremen, team leaders , cell leaders, group leaders, etc.. The job title "supervisor" is used here to include all those engaged in first line supervision - anyone whose function includes the organization and direction of a manufacturing work group. Several studies have suggested that UK employers in general had little idea of the importance of supervisors' roles. |
