Tiivistelmä: | The contemporary transition of Central and Eastern Europe is, in economic development terms, comparable with the Western transition in 19th century.The point is in a visible break of an organic change process from a routinistic society into an innovative society.The alternatives for the next step are: culture and economy of a labour intensive, capital intensive or science-technology (innovation) intensive type.The difference lies in levels of firms', persons' and authorities' social responsibility.The management method TQM based on B.Creech's 'five pillars of TQM' holistically and profoundly (=systemically), offers quite a chance for the most modern and hence best alternative - the innovation intensive one - to win with an accelerated speed. |
