| Tiivistelmä: | The quality of ecosystem valuations is only as good as the estimates of the changes in ecosystem condition generated by the ecological assessment. In general , predictive ecological assessments have produced vague qualitative results or have not addressed sufficient temporal or spatial scales to allow economists to assign monetary values to the predicted effects. The development of ecological risk assessment promises to address that problem. |
