| Tiivistelmä: | In the August 1988 Journal of Accountancy, the author suggested that "we need to reshape the profession's entire certification and licensing process." At the time, the author was a member of the American Institute of CPA's special committee on governance and structure, which was exploring a wide range of issues concerning the governance of the Institute and profession in a fast-changing professional and business world. A proposed new regulatory approach would make CPAs more mobile and competitive in the marketplace. |
