| Tiivistelmä: | It is estimated that 15 million people need to obtain employment and re-employment during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period through to the year 2010. By the year 2000, there will be about 25 million of redundant people. In the coming 15 year, the basic pattern that the growth of labor population demand will exceed by far population growth, will remain unchanged. The urban unemployment rate will be 3.5% in 2000 and 4% in 2010. By the year 2000, the proportion of employment in the primary industry will fall to 44.8%. However, the proportions in the secondary and tertiary industries will reach 27.1% and 28.1% respectively. The influx of rural labor force into cities and towns will speed up. There will be a trend of concentration forwards cities in employment. |
