| Tiivistelmä: | The opening of Eastern and Central European countries (CEECs) has brought fundamental changes in the orientation of the foreign trade of these countries. Before year 1998, the USSR was the most important trading partner for the CEECs. During transition, however, the European Union (EU) have gained market share, becoming the most important trade partner for all CEECs. This paper deals with the issues on change. |
