| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper we perform simulations with a stylized model of the United Kingdom and Germany to show which generations might be gainers, and which losers, from a transition from an unfunded to a funded state pension system. The reform of state pension systems is close to the top of the policy agenda in many developed countries. Within Europe, the number of pensioners relative to workers is likely to double within the next thirty years. |
