Tiivistelmä: | This paper's focus is on contributions of users in early phases of radical innovation (hereafter as: rd-innv/s.) projects. Based on multiple case study analysis in the field of medical equipment technology, identified are characteristics of users contributing substantially to the development of rd-innvs. by being their inventors and (co)-developers. In addition, it is observed that they play an entrepreneurial role when establishing and organizing the required innovation networks (as: inn-nets). These inn-nets. are needed to transform the users' radically new concepts into first physical prototypes and marketable products. |
