| Tiivistelmä: | Based on recent neuroscience research, the purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of building sustainable knowledge for communities and cities with a focus on the social process of knowledge mobilization. A new model of information and knowledge consistent with neuroscience is presented. Knowledge mobilization is modeled after associative network of neuronal firings in human brain. It is suggested that the process of collaborative entanglement among experts and stakeholders seeds the ground for ongoing community improvement, collaboration and sustainability. |
