Tiivistelmä: | Outline of some of the current literature connecting leadership to strategic changes in the firm is presented. Leadership is treated as a continuous process in context; where context refers to the conditions of change,the internal structure, cultura, and political context within which leadership occurs. The theoretical and analytical bases of a study of strategic change processes in ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) are described. Empirical findings in terms of processes of change are interpreted and the developing body of research on strategic change processes are outlined. |
