| Tiivistelmä: | Managerial roles and activities vary with each phase of a project. A conceptual model is developed suggesting that to maximize the chances of a project managers need to elaborate a unique configuration of tasks, actors, processes, and organizational arrangements adapted to every phase. Each configuration is determined by the size of the project, its impact, its complexity, the degree of uncertainty and the decision-making strategy. The model is based on the proposition that the probability of project success is in closer relation with the organization and management of the institution which is going to implement it than the project itself. |
