| Tiivistelmä: | The emergence of many mergers accentuates the already existing problems of the auditing profession. Regulation of firms rather than of members may be wrong in principle. It may be better to consider the formation of an office for auditing (Offaud) - with functions similar to those of Oftel and Ofgas. The Offaud should be preoccupied with the performance of auditing of large firms instead of regulation. |
