| Tiivistelmä: | A framework to perform a sensitivity analysis for minisum facility location problems is developed. Special emphasis is given to the problem of locating a new facility so as to minimize a weighted sum of distances from given demand points. The weights typically represent costs per unit distance to the new facility from each demand point, which may depend on unit transportation costs and the quantity shipped. Using the tolerance approach it is shown how to characterize and compute tradeoff curve between the size of perturbations in the weights and the degree of optimally of a solution to a minisum problem. |
