| Tiivistelmä: | Using data at the firm level, the existence of excess capacity as a strategic weapon to protect market share is tested. If excess capacity has been found, it is also testable whether sufficient excess capacity is held to drive the firm's own profit to zero by working with full capacity. Annual data for a brewery have been used as an example for the test. |
