| Tiivistelmä: | This article is an overview of the business environment in Russia, setting a context for business opportunities to be generally considered. It is an evaluation of the recent economic reforms the attempt to deliver the Russian economy out of the grip of the largest totalitarian, political and economic system that has ever existed into the "invisible hand" of a market economy. While it would appear that the present business environment in Russia is choked by problems, significant progress has been achieved by the reform programme in establishing the foundations of a market economy. |
