| Tiivistelmä: | With the removal of the Communist regime , the Czech universities have found themselves facing both opportunities and deep problems. Breaking away from the old regime did not replace the need for a professional analysis required for reform. Communist indoctrination affected both the contents and the form and methods of learning and teaching. The 1990 Higher Education Act and other legislation has not guaranteed changes in relationships between teaching and research and in staff development. |
