| Tiivistelmä: | Computer science today is an indispensable basic subject for many scientific disciplines. Its concept of information is reducable to the classical notion of experience. The conditions of possible information, not the information itself is investigated. Computer science is a science of formal and sometimes of natural languages. Due to a systematic abstraction procedure technical properties of devices are improved until the limitation of application information is reached. The undergraduate study of computer sciences is necessarily formal. The graduate study is design-oriented and is limited by application knowledge. |
