| Tiivistelmä: | During the last two decades, the interlinkage between trade and environment is increasingly becoming an important issue in international trade relations. Growing awareness on the part of people of the need to protect the environment and to promote sustainable development of the available resources, has resulted in an increasing resort to the use of environmental policy measures. Such measures are normally implemented by governments by adopting either regulatory or economic instruments. |
