| Tiivistelmä: | The recent decision by the Director General of Fair Trading to initiate proceedings to eliminate resale price maintenance on certain pharmaceutical products' may end the one effective remaining exception on the prohibition of this practice contained in United Kingdom competition law. The other industry in which price maintenance is still permitted by law is that of publicising, but this industry, as a result of various factors has recently desisted from enforcing the practice. |
