| Tiivistelmä: | There are three phases to establishing a method for understanding and advancing a company's organizing principle: understanding the process of change in organizations and in society at large; understanding the company's original organizing principle and its evolution over time; and understanding the changes that have taken place in the society, marketplace, and industry involved. This cooperative approach may strike at the heart of one of the central tenets of the industrial era, the notion of the division of labor and specialization. In most companies specialization was carried up through the management ranks to create the various divisions in a business in the human resources, information, strategic planning, and finance departments. |
